Buddy’s Palooza

Parent Participation Agreement & Consent

Effective Date: 1/1/2026

This Parent Participation Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the participation of your child (“Student”) in the Buddy’s Palooza fundraising program. Buddy’s Palooza is operated by Make A Buddy Mobile (“Program Operator”).

By registering your Student, you (“Parent/Guardian”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Program Description

  • Buddy’s Palooza is a school-approved fundraising initiative.
  • Students may participate through supervised fundraising activities, including donations and/or product sales.
  • Optional incentive-based rewards may be offered.
  • Participation is voluntary and subject to school approval and oversight.

2. Parental Authority & Consent

By registering your Student, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are the legal parent or court-appointed guardian of the Student.
  • You have full authority to grant permission for participation.
  • You consent to your Student’s involvement in all program-related activities.
  • All participation occurs under parental supervision and responsibility.

3. Fundraising Activity & Communications

  • Fundraising pages and communications are intended for family and friends only.
  • All outreach must be truthful, respectful, and appropriate.
  • The Program Operator does not monitor individual messages.
  • The Parent/Guardian is responsible for approving Student outreach.

4. Donations & Purchases

Donations

  • All donations are voluntary and final.
  • Donations are non-refundable.
  • Donations are not guaranteed to be tax-deductible unless stated by the school.

Product Purchases

  • Purchases support the fundraiser and may qualify the Student for incentives.
  • Product images and descriptions are representative.
  • Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

5. Incentives, Rewards & Prizes

  • Rewards are participation-based and are not compensation.
  • Rewards have no cash value and are non-transferable.
  • Availability is subject to inventory and scheduling.
  • The Program Operator may substitute rewards of equal or greater value.
  • Failure to comply with rules may result in forfeiture of rewards.

6. On-Site Events & Activities (If Applicable)

  • Adult supervision is required at all events.
  • Students must follow staff and school instructions.
  • Participation is voluntary and at the Student’s own risk.
  • The Program Operator is not responsible for personal items.

7. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

  • You acknowledge ordinary risks associated with youth activities.
  • You voluntarily assume all risks on behalf of your Student.
  • You release the Program Operator, Make A Buddy Mobile, and the school from claims, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

8. Media Release

We do not take photos or videos during campaigns. However, if your group posts content on social media, Make A Buddy Mobile may share those posts unless otherwise requested.

9. Data Privacy & Communications

Your information may be used for:

  • Campaign updates
  • Event notifications
  • Reward tracking

Personal information will not be sold or shared outside program administration.

10. Program Modifications & Termination

  • Modify program details as necessary.
  • Suspend or terminate participation for rule violations.
  • Cancel events due to safety or unforeseen circumstances.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

12. Acknowledgment

  • You have read and understand this Agreement.
  • You consent to your Student’s participation.
  • You agree to follow all program rules and policies.
